Rachel Maxann

BIO

Rachel Maxann possesses a rare and unparalleled vocal talent that is truly once-in-a-generation. Her powerhouse vocals resonate with profound depth and richness, captivating audiences and leaving them in awe. In addition to her remarkable vocal prowess, she delivers a live show that is electrifying, commanding the attention of every individual in the room.

A master of musical fusion, Rachel seamlessly blends the soulful rhythms of blues, the heartfelt melodies of folk, and a dash of vintage indie rock to create a sound that is uniquely her own. Her artistry has carried her to acclaimed stages at Folk Alliance International, Your Roots Are Showing in Ireland, and throughout Latin America, where she has shared both her music and her teaching, bridging cultures through song.

Rachel is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), specializing in LGBTQ+ issues, mental health, and life transitions. Her work as a therapist and activist deeply informs her music, grounding her artistry in empathy, resilience, and human connection.
“After a show, the parents of a little girl who would come to all of my performances sent me a picture of their daughter with a tiny guitar and microphone. They said she hadn’t stopped playing since they got home. I think that’s the best compliment I’ve ever received.”

It’s this spirit that makes Rachel Maxann stand out as not just a captivating singer but a true force in the industry, leaving a legacy of not only talent but kindness, empathy, and inspiration for generations to come.
