Muo Duo
BIO
Muo Duo is a New York–based sibling music act known for blending pop, experimental, and genre-crossing influences into a distinctive, modern sound. The group consists of brother and sister Miles (often performing as Miles From Space) and Winter, both of whom bring strong individual artistic backgrounds into their collaborative work.
Miles is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer who studied music composition at Juilliard. His training in classical composition and film scoring informs the duo’s layered, cinematic production style.
Meanwhile, Winter contributes vocals and performance experience rooted in theater; she notably portrayed Young Elsa in Broadway’s Frozen.
Together, Muo Duo fuse their backgrounds into a project that mixes pop songwriting with experimental textures and eclectic influences. Their music draws inspiration from artists such as The Beatles, Tyler, The Creator, and jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, resulting in a sound that spans retro pop, alternative, and avant-garde sounds.
The duo began releasing music in the early 2020s, building momentum through singles like “Postmodern Romance,” and “Exciting Times,” to release their first full-length project Grammy Bait (2025). Their output is characterized by playful concepts, polished production, and a willingness to experiment with tone and genre.
Often describing their music as an “escape” into a creative, imaginative space, Muo Duo position themselves as both storytellers and sonic explorers. Crafting songs that combine theatrical flair, technical musicianship, and contemporary pop sensibility.
