Twenty years after The Klezmatics transformed previously unrecorded Woody Guthrie lyrics into the GRAMMY Award-winning Wonder Wheel, the landmark album returns in a newly expanded anniversary edition.

Featuring 19 tracks, including 7 archival bonus recordings, Wonder Wheel (20th Anniversary Edition) is available digitally, on expanded CD and — for the first time ever — on vinyl as a 2LP gatefold edition featuring Steve Keene’s original artwork and additional archival material.

Originally released in 2006, Wonder Wheel grew out of the Woody Guthrie Archive, with The Klezmatics composing entirely new music around lyrics Woody left behind. The result brought his words into The Klezmatics’ world, blending their roots in Yiddish music with folk, rock and other influences to create something entirely their own.

The album went on to earn The Klezmatics a GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary World Music Album, becoming a defining release in the band’s career and an enduring part of Woody Guthrie’s musical legacy.
